Blue Quarantinie

I love things that can be used in more than one way. When I shop for anything I try to think of different ways to use the item. This is a reason minimalism resonates with me. It allows you to remove the things that don't bring value to your life and make room for the things that do. Like my closet!

Let me tell you about this Top.  The color is pretty, its comfortable and fresh. I have dressed it up and dressed it down. I have worn it with white tennis shoes walking all over the city for a casual look.  I have paired it with distressed denim and nude heel sandals for an evening out with the girls giving the look a more smart casual vibe.  I popped on a blazer and pumps for a classic elegant look. This day I paired it with some sandals for a short evening walk.

Top: MK
Bag: MK bday gift

Sunglasses: Vince Camuto (8 yrs old)

*I recommend shopping TJ MAXX & similar stores to find these bags half priced!*

I hope you can find small things to look forward to or celebrate. Looking at the Big picture especially these days can be too overwhelming. If you are just surviving the day, I want you know that it's a big win and I am so proud of you! I hope you guys are staying Happy & Healthy. Hugs!

Have a lovely day!

Fifty-Eleven years later Update

Life has been crazy as of late. This year caught us all by surprise and was not what we were expecting. I have found so much comfort in vlogs and encouraging social media accounts. We miss the connection, and while we are physically distant, we don’t have to be distant socially meaning we can still connect through social media and tech.

Do you ever look back at your life and think what it would be like if you hadn’t let that passion go? If you would have pursued an idea or dream. Looking back on my blog, I realized how things have changed (my eyebrows thank God!) and how many things have stayed the same.

While my collection of makeup has decreased in size, my wardrobe and love for clothes has not. It has always been a way to express myself. Through the years I can see what season of my life I was in based on my style. The seasons of raising babies, the seasons where life was unpredictable and just hard, the seasons where life was more abundant and lovely. I love fashion, I love deals, I love expressing and sharing my love for fashion and appreciating others style, even if they are not my own.

I look back at the person I was and realize how much I compromised myself to make others happy, all while forgetting about the person whose happiness is most important- Myself. We all have a story to tell and I think that’s beautiful.  I hope we can share positivity, encouragement, kindness and grace.
